   Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington was started as a mission project of the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church in January of 1995. After serving in the Hillsboro church for over 2 years, Pastor McInerney and His wife, Theresa, felt led of the Lord to come to Wilmington. In their first meeting, there were 8 people present. On April 30, 1995, the church was organized and chartered with 40 members. Since that time, the Lord has sent tremendous growth to the congregation. Nearly 17,000 people have visited the church since it began, and over 3000 salvation decisions have been recorded. The church membership and attendance have grown steadily each year. In April 2001, construction was completed on a new 750 seat multi-purpose worship facility located on a 32 acre campus on 22&3. Phase 2, construction of a 10,000 square foot classroom and office addition, was completed in November 2004. Phase 3 calls for a new worship auditorium to adjoin the north side of the complex. What about your eternal home?
Man's Problem...Sin--Man chose to sin against God rather than serve Him.  No good works will make him acceptable in God's sight.  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23  & Ephesians 2:8-9
Sin's Penalty...Death--separation from God forever. "For the wages of sin is death..."  Romans 6:23  & Revelation 20:15
Christ's Payment...He was our Sinless Substitute.  "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."  Romans 5:8
Our Pardon...Turn and Trust.  We must personally receive Christ as Lord and Savior.  We must repent of our sins and put our trust in Him alone.  "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."  John 14:6  & Acts 3:19
God's Promise...Eternal Life. "...He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."  John 5:24
